As a system administrator and the unfortunate person that gets to baby sit our email security system, which is total crap, I get to to manually release or delete emails the system can't figure out what to do with. So over the course of a day I get to see the email that people send to their so called friends, in and effort to help them survive this evil world. Emails alerting them to the horror of dirty heroin needles hiding in ball pits at McDonald's, an Atheist who is petitioning radio stations to stop airing religious broadcasts, or to bring their close friends untold riches by sending them money angels via email which "if you forward to six of your friends will certainly bring you good financial luck".
What the hell is wrong with you people? are you that bored throughout the day that you have nothing better to do then send out emails to your pals? Are you that gullible to believe that the emails you are sending out are really true? I have a feeling that these are the same people that fall for phishing scams, and believe they really won the Irish lottery. Please help me spread the word to all your non-geek friends and tell them to quit perpetuating these unfounded emails and if they absolutely feel compelled to forward that email to check it out at www.snopes.com first because chances are it's not true.
